In-House Drone Repair Services

Always try to land on your feet. When you can’t, we can help! No matter if it’s a consumer or enterprise DJI drone. We made our name in the repair game.

  • No need for an appointment! Drop off your drone at our Fremantle Store anytime we're open. We’ll book in your drone for an assessment and email you the confirmation.

  • Leave it with us! One of our experienced technicians will look over your drone and provide you with an emailed quote! We don’t charge a quotation or assessment fee, so if you don't want to continue for any reason, just let us know and you can come grab it any time.

  • After you give us the green light, we’ll have our technicians get your repairs underway. After repairs, a full set of calibrations, updates and flight tests, are usually performed. Once it's 100% ready to go, we'll let you know. Want to check progress? Give us a ring or shoot us an email.

  • Once your drone has been confirmed to be in working order, the team will notify you that it is ready to collect! Feel free to collect anytime. You can pay on pick-up. If you need shipping or special arrangements, just get in touch!

In-House Repairs: Frequently Asked Questions

If you have any other questions that aren't listed here, feel free to get in touch directly at any time.
  • Our technicians really only need your drone, however we ask that you check-in your remote controller along side it. This helps them make sure that your drone works with your equipment, and not just with the equipment we have in-house.

We don’t need any other extra accessories (unless you wanted them looked at). If you have everything packed together in a hard case or camera bag, we can check it all in together if you prefer.

We can have dozens of drones here on a given day. We’d prefer to have as little here as possible to mitigate risk of misplacing anything.

  • Similar to above, we generally ask for the drone and remote controller to both be sent.

Our reception address is Unit 1 Ground Floor, 72 Marine Terrace, Fremantle WA 6160.

Pleas include a note with all contact information and any details relevant to the drones crash and/or faults you encountered.

We would also appreciate if you took the time to fill out the form below on this page. However, it is not mandatory.

  • After we’ve checked-in your drone and emailed you confirmation, one of our technicians will quote you for your repair and/or service.

We try and quote as quickly as we can. Most of the time, you can expect to receive your quote about one or two days after you’ve checked in.

We have technicians rostered for in-house repairs through out the week. However, between their schedules and the current quote/repair queue at the time, we are not able to guarantee on-the-spot assessments or repairs.

If you have a water damaged drone, this quote assessment will likely take longer.

  • The technicians should have an approximate ETA for your repair after your drone is assessed and quoted.

If you ever want to check-in on the status of your repair, just give us a ring or send us an email!

  • If for any reason you are unavailable to collect your repair after it is complete, just let us know.

If you’d like to nominate someone to collect on your behalf, let us know their name before hand. Have them bring in a copy of their ID and give them a copy of your invoice.

We can also organise shipping. Let us know your address and we can pack it up safely for dispatch.

You’re free to organise your own courier or freight to come collect as well as long as we’re notified from you directly.

All we ask is that the invoice is paid before the drone leaves the store. You can pay over the phone. We can provide you with a link to pay online. The person you’ve nominated can pay in-person. Approved purchase orders can also be accepted.

  • You’re welcome to bring it in for an assessment. We can have our technicians assess if it is feasible and/or economical to repair.

Water damaged drones take longer to assess and longer to repair. We have experienced technicians with quite a few successful water damaged repair cases under their belt. However, we can’t guarantee that every drone is saveable. At some point, needing to buy a new replacement drone will make more sense than a repair. Some water damaged repairs may be ineligible for specific parts/repairs required to fix them anyway.

If your drone has been water damaged, please do not turn it on. Do not plug in a battery. We’d advise you to properly dispose of your battery at a battery recycling centre.

  • Absolutely! If you would prefer, you can submit a DJI Care Refresh case directly with DJI yourself via their website. For warranty cases, this is also recommended.

However, if you need assistance with the process, feel free to bring it down to us and we can help you out!

  • We specialize in DJI drones specifically but have been able to (on occasion) repair a limited range of other models.

Please ask us first before bringing/sending your drone to us to see if it's something we can assist with.

  • Please see a list of the drones we either do not or are no longer able to support below:

    - DJI Phantom 3 Series

    - Swellpro Splashdrone 3/3+

    - Swellpro Spry

    - Swellpro Splashdrone 4

    - Ryze Tello Series

    - Skydio Drones

    - Parrot Drones

    - Gannet Drones

This list can change at any time. We apologise for the inconvenience.

  • Yes, you can bring in your own parts and we can reassemble/repair your drone with them. However, we will generally only accept authentic OEM parts.

We do not warranty repairs if we do not provide the parts ourselves.

When we repair/replace parts, we usually offer a 6-month warranty on the repair. If you're having the same issue with your drone after you've had it repaired with us, you can bring it in and we'll have it repaired under warranty. Some cases do not qualify for our usual warranty (eg. water damaged drones, etc.).

  • For in-house repairs, no. This is not something we offer.

We prefer to give each case the time and attention they require. Please try and bring in your drone when you have ample time for it to be assessed properly.

We understand that you may require your drone for upcoming work, holidays, etc. You can let us know if you have important deadlines ahead and we'll see what we can work in.

However, please keep in mind that we cannot guarantee we'll be able to repair everything, exactly when everyone needs it, all the time.

  • Yes.

This is an optional pre-check in form for repairs. This is not required for you to have your drone repaired with us. We take in most of this information at the door anyway. If you’re sending your drone down to us via mail/courier, then it is recommended you fill in this form in addition to including your contact information physically with your drone to make sorting/check-in easier.
